I checked the PCV hose a second time and tried to clear the code and VCDS says OK but I'm not sure that it actually cleared. It's on the firewall and has a 1/4' hose that runs to the right of the bay which comes out of the bottom of that big fitting in the firewall (with the number on it) I'll try to figure out what it does but if anyone has an idea lmk. Hoping ECS has a better quality or fitting replacement. It's very hard plastic, maybe all it took was a tiny tap but who knows. I also remember trying to be as careful as possible working around it. Not yet sure what it's job is so I'm not ruling this out as the culprit just yet. Just attached a photo of the only hose I can see that looks bad but it's been like that for a while.
